A Book Club Most Foul

See that lovely group of ladies up there? You would never think to look at them that their minds are full of murder, would you? Well, fear not: this gaggle of Miss Marples has come together to solve crime, not to commit it! And they’d love to have you join their group of merry mystery-solvers.

The Lee’s Summit Branch Mystery Book Club meets on the first Wednesday of every month at 6:30 p.m. The next meeting will be January 4, and the group will be discussing Alan Bradley’s The Sweetness at the Bottom of the Pie. It’s a timeless tale of vicious poison, stolen stamps, and dead birds, starring a precocious twelve-year-old chemist.
