A Bohemian Mystery
October 26, 2010
Mystery, intrigue, murder??? Kenneth Cameron’s character, Denton, often finds himself involved in the dark side of Victorian London life, and this reputation brings him into another mystery in The Bohemian Girl. Denton is a famous American author who returns from a trip to Central Europe, and is greeted by a note from a young woman asking for his help. She is in terrible danger and fears for her life, but the letter is months old. Is she safe? Has she been harmed? Denton decides to search for this Mary Thomason and find out.
Cameron’s historical British mystery mixes “elements of a classic noir with the twists of a psychological thriller” (from the publisher). The culmination of characters and events is anything but obvious, and Denton’s adventure definitely keeps you reading.
This book and Cameron's first book, The Frightened Man, are available in the MCPL catalog.
