Blue Springs Idol

Blue Springs is famous for Missouri Town, Burr Oak Woods…and David Cook! David Cook burst onto the scene when he auditioned for the seventh season of American Idol, and was propelled to national stardom after winning in 2008. He quickly followed up with a self-titled album and toured with American Idol before beginning his own tour in January 2009.

Blue Springs honored its hometown hero by erecting a sign on a stretch of Interstate 70. Every time I drive into Blue Springs. I see this sign and am reminded of someone who put our community on the map. I was excited to hear that on June 28, David Cook is releasing his new album, This Loud Morning.
