The Best of Summer

With summer already half-spent, it is time to consider whether each of us is enjoying the best that summer has to offer. Of all the things that come to mind for me, I would be remiss if I didn't mention viewing the local wildlife that Missouri has to offer. A simple trip to my backyard provides me a new appreciation of life, as I spy butterflies visiting my flowerbeds or taking a sip from my pond. The season to enjoy these ethereal creatures is short, so I encourage you to take time to enjoy them.
