Belly Up

If you are looking for a terrific summer read that is full of action, comedy, and mystery, Belly Up is the perfect book. The author, Stuart Gibbs, offers a fun read that will keep you laughing and guessing at the same time.

The zoo’s main attraction, and mascot, is a huge hippo. Sadly, Henry the hippo is found, as you may have guessed from the book’s title, "Belly Up." Is it possible Henry was deliberately murdered? This is a great possibility since the hippo did not like people and was not very nice to the spectators. Teddy recognizes this was no random event and begins his investigation only to find himself as a target.

I can tell you my favorite part was the ending when Teddy and Summer solve the mystery of Henry’s death. If you want to find out what happened, check out the book and read it!
