Behind the Scenes at the Library

There is much more than meets the eye in the Llibrary. Everyone has a vision of the public library with computers, shelves of books, programs, and so much to offer. But behind the scenes, there is much, much more!

There are departments that acquire the materials, catalog them, deliver them, teach the staff, supply the branches with paper and staples, arrange for programs, solve computer problems of every kind, keep the buildings in good repair, and serve as visionaries who imagine the Library's future and make it come true. So much more happens, and so many are responsible for everything to be ready for you, our customer.

 I just wanted to take a moment to thank all of the people who work tirelessly behind the scenes to make the Library everyone's destination.
