Beach Reads

Beach Reads are those titles you take on vacation that you don't have to think about. They aren't literary, in-depth or too serious. If you are looking for something that fits this bill try Denise Swanson's Scumble River series, where school psychologist Skye Denison finds herself involved in one murder or another in-between counseling high school students.

Jane L. Cleland's Josie Prescott series is another good series. Josie is an antiques dealer in New Hampshire determined to keep her busines up and running while finding potential clients and employees in legal trouble and in need of help.

And for laugh-out-loud fun, do not forget Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum series.  A bounty hunter trys to earn a living bringing in various and sundry would-be criminals while juggling her interest in two very different men.
