Bad Doggy - Part 1

A young customer from Red Bridge Branch shared her first book with our staff. We enjoyed reading it and getting to meet this up-and-coming young author. Since our staff enjoyed reading it so much, the young author gave us permission to share her work with others. Enjoy Bad Doggy, by Ella Rogge.

BAD DOGGY
WRITTEN AND ILLUSTRATED BY ELLA ROGGE

Once there was a mommy dog that was pregnant. She had one son and three daughters. The son was one month older, but the daughters were bought first. Two months after the daughters were bought, the son was bought. The boy was his owner’s only pet for one year. Then they went away for one week and came back the next week with a big surprise!!!!

A kitten. So that is when he got bad. He never wiped his feet like he used to. He was always mean to the kitten.

The dog used to sleep on a bed, but the kitten needed it. So, the owner took it and made a bed for the kitten. The bed used to look like this, now it looks like this.

Chapter Two
Aunt Delaney

The owner told the dog that she was going away. She is going to bring home two surprises. She said she is going to be home on July 1st, and today is May 1st!!!! So, Aunt Delaney is going to watch us. Oh and she is bringing her pets.

Hello, it is me, Delaney. Hi, I have to leave now. See you in July! Slam! Broom!
