There’s a new freezer cookbook out, and it is the best I’ve seen so far! It's titled 30 Day Gourmet’s Big book of Freezer Cooking by Nanci Slagel and Carol Santee.
My family tried the chicken taquito recipe this weekend, and all the picky eaters in my house gave it rave reviews! Boneless skinless chicken was on sale for $1.18 a pound at Big V Countrymart, so I cooked up a freezer full of taquitos that are now ready for busy evenings; healthy, homemade, cheap and EASY! We also tried the Little Breakfast Quiches, minus the onions. These were great too, so I discovered a new way to use up some of our hen's eggs. I can’t wait to try more of the recipes in the book.
