Attention Book Club Members or Wannabees

March 29, 2011

Are you a member of a book club that needs help?  Would you like to start a book club but don’t know how? Today I found a wonderful website that can help you develop your book club and make it interesting. It is www.litlovers.com.

The creator of the website is Molly Lindquist, a former college English instructor, and she states, "The site is about WHAT we read, HOW we read, and HOW we THINK about our reading." The website has information on:

      1.  Starting a Book Club
      2.  Running a Book Club
      3.  How to Select Books
      4.  Questions for Fiction and Nonfiction
      5.  Free courses for improving your literary skills

This website has a wealth of information for the new book club member or the veteran book club member. The courses are especially interesting because they teach you how to think differently about things such as characters, symbolism, theme, irony, plot and point of view.  So, if you are wanting to start a book club or you need to breathe life into your current book club, check out Lit Lovers today.
