Are You Missing Your Favorite Magazine?
October 16, 2012
Times are tough, and we often find ourselves having to choose between that People magazine at the checkout and a gallon of milk. We know we have to have the milk, but we also miss reading about our favorite celebrities and who wore it best. Once we get home and unpack the groceries, we still don’t have that glossy magazine to get us through our lunch breaks or waiting time at the dentist’s office. But if you make a stop at the Library on the way home, you can get that magazine and read it for free...
Did you know that the Colbern Road Branch carries nearly 100 magazine titles? We have everything from that shiny new People to Motorcycle Consumer News, as well as children’s and teen’s magazines. You can checkout up to 5 back issues at a time, or read the current issue at the branch. It’s an easy way to have your milk and read Cat Fancy, too!

Magazine donations
We have a sizable collection of National Geographic from several years of subscriptions. We also have some Missouri Conservationist as well as some lifestyle, fashion, food and travel magazines. Could be drop them off at the library? I hate to simply send them to recycling.
Magazine Donation
We would love to have you donate your magazines to the library. As long as they are in good condition, we will set them out on the free table for other customers to take.
