April Flowers
April 12, 2012
Spring has sprung at the Buckner Branch. Yesterday, the Village Crafters created some lovely duct tape roses. These flowers won't be found in anybody's garden...there aren't too many teal tulips or dragon-patterned snapdragons in your grandma's flowerbed. If you want to craft some of these unnatural lovelies yourself, grab a roll of tape, these directions, and get busy!
But if you are in the mood for some real flowers, sign up for our upcoming Plant a Perennial Garden program! You'll learn what you need to know about soil preparation, basic landscape design, and other ways to grow a fun and fashionable flower garden. The program is April 23 at 7:00 p.m.
Bring your green thumb and prepare to be dazzled!
