Another Year for the North Platte Teen Book Clubs

It’s time to start the North Platte Teen Book Clubs up again! We are going to have a lot of fun this year, and I think we have some great books to read.
 
If there are any North Platte R1 Jr. High or High School students who would like to join these book clubs, you need to speak to your school librarians and sign up. Hurry—I will be delivering our first book choice on Thursday, August 30th.
 
If you are in jr. high, you will need a signed permission slip from your parents to participate. The jr. high meetings will be held on the last Thursday of the month at 2:52 p.m. in the jr. high library. Our first title is Divergent by Veronica Roth.

If you are in high school, you will need a valid, working MCPL library card. The high school meetings will be held on the last Thursday of the month at 11:14 a.m. in the high school library. Our first title is Swimming to Antarctica by Lynne Cox.
