Amish Fiction Provides Pleasant Reading

For seekers of Christian fiction who are looking for something new, you might enjoy Amish fiction. You can just type in "Amish fiction" under subject of the MCPL online catalog. You can also type in Amish fiction on the internet search and click on Christianbook.com.

Recently there has been an increase of fiction books set around the Amish culture.  Two popular writers are Beverly Lewis and Wanda Brunstetter, who have written several series in this genre. The first book gets you hooked and you just want to read the whole series.
 
Recommended series by Lewis are Annie’s People and Heritage of Lancaster County.  You might  also enjoy Brunstetter’s series Indiana Cousins and Brides of Webster County. These are pleasant reads to add to your favorites.
