The Adventures of Squeaker the Storytime Mouse

What fun!  Crafters are coming to the library! Squeaker loves people, and creative people are the best. September 8th was Buckner Branch's first Village Crafters get together. Mary Beth demonstrated making yarn out of old T-shirts. Everyone brought along the project they were working on, and there was a great show and tell, including lots of ooh-ing and ahh-ing over the beautiful things people were making. Knitting, spinning, plastic canvas, beading, and sewing were represented. We shared some great information about sources for materials and places to shop. We'd barely gotten started and the hour had gone by too fast. So, everyone is looking forward to the next Village Crafters program on Wednesday, October 13, at 2 pm.
