Registration started May 1, so don’t wait to sign up! The official TSRP dates are from May 20 to July 31. You can begin logging your reviews May 21.
Relax, the Library Has Your Back: A Few Tips for Taking a Test
Woe to the days of studying and cramming information into my head the night before a major, (and possibly) standardized test. I was never really a good test taker, and I don’t propose that I am now a better one after taking enough of them, but I do know that there are some things to make it a little easier when the test day comes.
In August, Cassandra Clare’s popular City of Bones will make its film debut. Based on the popularity of the books, the film could be a huge hit. People of all ages have read this book because of the richness and depth of the characters and plot. This series was originally supposed to be a trilogy, but now it will have six books in the series, with another series called the Infernal Devices connected to it. These books also have some connection to Holly Black’s books - Tithe, Valiant, and Ironside. (Both series makes reference of each other).
Parkville/Boardwalk/Riverside Teen Advisory Group Participates in World Book Night
Members of the Teen Advisory Group for the Parkville, Boardwalk, and Riverside branches met on Tuesday night, April 23rd to deliver over 100 books to the St. Luke's North Hospital locations at Barry Road and Smithville; the books were then distributed by staff to teens who have long-term stays at either hospital. This Teen Advisory Group is made up of 17 teenagers, ages 13-18, who are homeschoolers and public schoolers in the Park Hill, Platte County, and Smithville school district areas.

Let me set the scene, it was late one night after I’d gotten off the bus from my astronomy lab, which was out in the middle of nowhere.
