6 in 12 Is Still Going Strong!

May 16, 2012

Sure, it's already May and we're ready to start our Summer Reading Program for children and teens (check back here soon for more information!), but don't forget about our reading challenge for adults, 6 in 12. We will have drawings for several eReaders and other assorted prizes, and you have until the end of the year to participate!

The challenge is to read six Library items in twelve months (including books, comics, audiobooks, and eBooks), but you don't have to wait until you've finished all six. Log each of your reads on the online entry form as soon as you've finished, and you'll be entered in to our drawings! Having trouble submitting online? We can also help you in the branch, or even over the phone. Just stop in, or call us here at the Excelsior Springs Branch at 816.630.6721.

Happy reading, and good luck!

Enjoyable

I've found this activity challenge to be so enjoyable....I've always loved reading and like to write down the books and authors who wrote them over the years. Its great to look back on all of the booka and to even find a few I'd like to reread. Now I'm also finding joy in audio books as well and the drives to and from work as well as trips to visit family in Iowa are a breeze as I listen to wonderful books on discs. Thank you for making this challenge available to adults!!
