Vacations and the Library

I have had the pleasure of doing some extensive traveling over the past year. Last fall, my husband and I enjoyed a trip to Washington D.C.

I spent a week in Chicago earlier this year, and fell in love with the city! While it wasn't my first visit, it was my first time to stay in the city with a Chicagoan, and see, do, and EAT so many things!

As summer draws to a close, I look back on my favorite vacation memories in Door County Wisconsin. For the past twenty-three years, I have visited friends who have a bed and breakfast in Ephraim.

Half the battle of a trip is months and months before you go. Trip planning is an art, balancing all the activities your group wants to do with the amount of vacation time you have. This is especially true when you're planning a magical trip to the happiest place on Earth.

For fellow Disney aficionados, you know that covering the large expanse that is Walt Disney World during a trip is not an easy thing to accomplish. With four Disney parks, water parks, Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure, and Sea World, there's a lot Orlando, Florida has to offer to the vacationing family.

I got to check off a destination on my bucket list this fall when my husband and I went to Maine on vacation. We flew in to Portland and rented a car. We stayed at a bed and breakfast in the coastal town of Old Orchard Beach, and walked out to the beach in the evenings. From there, we drove up the coast along the scenic route to Camden, stopping along the way at the L.L. Bean stores and factory outlets.
