Sometimes working in a library, I feel a little out of place. You may ask why? I like watching TV, and almost every day a customer will comment that there is nothing on TV. So, they come to the library to stock up on books. I think people feel that because I’m working at the library, I agree with this statement.
November must be National Geek Month and someone forgot to tell me. It’s perfectly all right if it wasn’t organized. Geeks are, by nature, world class procrastinators… but enough on that subject. Everyone likes a story, and everyone likes a good adventure. Have you been watching American Idol? Wow! Am I imagining it, or are these singers all excellent? The final twelve could have their own "Glee" program. I'm enjoying the new group of judges, also. A couple of weeks ago, I streamed Rocky and Bullwinkle for my grandkids. They loved it! Their favorite part was the Fractured Fairytales segment. All I could do was shake my head because I remember Rocky the Flying Squirrel from my childhood, and let’s just say that was a while ago!
Dancing with the Stars danced its way to the end of its 12th season. Sadly—at least for some of us—it is sad that we will have to wait until fall to see more of the elegance, the excitement, the stumbles, and the strains.
However, in the meantime, why not learn a few steps yourself? Kirstie Alley proved this season that dancing is a great way to trim off weight. Of course! Because when you dance you move your whole body!
