So you say that you've been following Harry, Ron, Hermione, and all the others since the beginning. You've cheered and cried, celebrated and grieved. You've practically memorized all the books, watched the movies dozens of times, listened to the music from the soundtracks until you could hum the entire score, and saved all your pennies for months to go to the theme park in Florida (the day it opened). You've dressed up as characters, rattled off trivia, and decorated at least part of your room with memorabilia.

If you attended the Harry Potter Extravaganza, you know how awesome the party was! Thanks for coming out to party with us, and thanks to the outstanding staff who threw one terrific party. Harry Potter... I know you have heard those words over and over again these past few months. Some probably find them superbly annoying. For many fans however, they are reminders. I am newcomer to the Wizarding World having not read the books until after college. For years, I didn’t understand the draw and definitely not the hype. But once I started reading, I started to get it. Harry Potter exists in a world of magic and fantasy so completely different from our own.
Ever tried your hands at tie dyeing? Our Antioch teens did. According to some sources, heat helps to bring out your colors. If that is true, our colors should be brilliant as it was over 100 degrees (heat index). We did circles and spirals and rows. Some even made up their own patterns. We used red, yellow, and blue dyes. We even create our own colors by mixing the three primary dyes. Everyone had a great time creating a new T-shirt to wear this summer.
