Anime (Japanese Animation) is a much celebrated format of film and television loved by adults and youth alike. Originating in Japan and gaining popularity throughout Europe and the United States (Anime is actually a French word), Anime creates magical worlds where good and evil are constantly at odds and people are not bound by the laws of reality. While some issues discussed can be over young minds, most Anime thoughtfully presents life’s true questions in a unique and fun format.

Annual Teen Ice Cream Social: A Place to Meet New Friends
With the newly decorated young adult area, the staff thought it would be fun to actually use this area for our teen programs. We had many teens show up to enjoy making (and eating) tasty ice cream treats and making new friends. We made banana splits and sundaes, giggling about the fun we had this summer. Many comments were made about how great the new teen area looks. Come check it out when you attend on of our upcoming teen programs this fall, including a game day on September 25th and pumpkin carving on October 26th.
