Out Of This World Programs Designed With Children In Mind

Summer break is over, and children are heading back to school. Now is the time to shift gears, and move into your fall schedule.

If you have younger children at home and are looking for quality programs, we offer a wide variety here at North Oak. Each Thursday and Friday morning at 10:30 a.m. (beginning September 8 and 9), children will gather in our Children's area to join in our weekly storytime. Our storytime is for all ages, and the great thing is that you can just drop in. Registration is not required for these regular weekly storytimes.

Bringing your child to storytime is an important step in fostering a love of reading, and parent participation makes this experience even better! So, put on your favorite jammies, and head over to the Colbern Road Branch for storytime fun. We look forward to seeing you there!

Squeaker Is Back!

It's been fun to go on vacation, to play in the ocean, sightsee, shop for international cheese, but now, Squeaker is home again and glad to get back to work. Storytime is his favorite time. The only thing better than reading books is to read books with your friends. We also have a craft time and watch  funny movies with friends. Please join Squeaker for storytime every Thursday at 10 a.m. Bring the whole family, and bring your friends, too.
