To answer these questions and others like them, the Weston Branch will be having the program Intro To Social Networking. It will be on Monday September 20th at 7:00pm.
Social media has entered our lives in a big way in the past 10 years. It seems that Facebook is here to stay, at least for a while! It's estimated that over 500 million people currently use Facebook in just about every country in the world. That's about 1 in 12 people in the world using Facebook. You didn't think MCPL would be left out, did you?
Hey teens, ever wish you could add upcoming library programs to your Facebook event calendar? We thought so! That is why we have been creating more teen MCPL pages for you on Facebook. You can check out upcoming events, fun facts about your branch, look at pictures of library regulars, and even get updates from your favorite teen programmers. Not to mention, it's a great way to keep in touch with other cool teens who like the library :)
