Happy Black Friday

I rolled over, kissed my husband goodbye, waved at my daughter and son-in-love, and rolled over to reset the alarm. I was cozy in my bed, and my family was off to find a bargain. Really? They spread out all the sale ads to see what's on sale, which store has the best prices, and most importantly, which store opens first. Then, they plan out the best route.

Christmas Shopping for the Grandchildren

As the holiday season quickly approaches, I find myself thinking about what to get for my grandchildren. One of the things I always include in my gift giving for them is a book. I started this tradition many years ago when my first grandchild was born.
