Yesterday, after a short talk was given on Jackson Pollock, two dozen painters launched their careers as expressionists. Paint was flung at paper from a hundred different angles. Who knows, maybe someday this event will mark the early period of a new movement of abstract artists in Independence.

If this proves to be the case, then we should be thankful that the the press was there to document this event.
