GREAT DATABASE!

If you are an American History buff like me or a student researching historical subjects, do I have a database for you? This database is available online, and is titled American History in Video. It has full length Documentaries, many of which have been broadcast on the History Channel, A&E and PBS. I have spent a small fortune on buying DVDs of many of these documentaries, but here you can watch them as many times as you want for free.

Filming the Hobbit--At Last!

Finally! The day Lord of the Rings lovers have been waiting for! The first day of filming The Hobbit! The prequel to the Lord of the Rings trilogy by J.R.R. Tolkien.

Sadly, I have missed my chance to be in The Hobbit, but at least it is finally rolling. Filming of the two part movie began Monday, March 21, in New Zealand. Filming could take two years, but Part 1 is scheduled to come out in 2012.
