St. Patrick’s Day is Saturday, March 17th. What are YOU doing to celebrate? There are many events that take place to celebrate this fun holiday. You could participate in the Annual Westport St. Patrick’s Day Run on Saturday, March 10th at 10:00 a.m. Irishpalooza will be taking place Sunday, March 11th with fun events going on all day.
There are so many fun things to see and do in Kansas City, but it’s the newest that has so many excited.
First, we had Worlds of Fun. Then Oceans of Fun was added to our local list of excursions. Now, it looks like we will have two water-worlds right here in Kansas City. The aquarium is just about ready for the grand opening.

Shatto Milk Company, famous for their glass bottles and root beer flavored milk, is just a short thirty minute drive north of the Edgerton Branch. Shatto will be opening their dairy farm for tours the afternoon of Edgerton Branch’s 13th Annual Frog Jumping Contest: Wednesday, June 20th, 2012. Last weekend, I braved city traffic to take my family down to the Titanic exhibit currently showing down at Union Station. If you haven’t heard about this awesome travelling exhibit, I can tell you that it’s well worth a look.

This summer in Kansas City is especially exciting if you are a baseball fan, like this writer, as our city is hosting a very exciting baseball event. All around town the week of July 8th, the city will be bustling with activities for all ages, as well as countless visitors to our city.
