Last weekend, I joined Mariah and her mother on an elegant outing to visit the Princess Diana Exhibition at Union Station. If you haven’t been, Union Station is an experience in and of itself with stunningly beautiful architecture and many activities to entertain people of every age.

Tammy the Traveling Librarian here with the question, “Who’s up for a road trip?" From Jack Kerouac to Thelma and Louise, we all need a good escape now and then!
Hi! It’s Tammy the Travelling Librarian! My teeth are still chattering from my cold but wonderful trip to the state of Alaska, via the Sapphire Princess cruise ship. Sure could’ve used a jacket for this one!
Hey Teens! Have you ever wanted to make a HUGE mess and not get in trouble for it? Ever wanted to see how much shaving cream is in a can? Well, come on down to our Shaving Cream War on Monday, July 11th at the Camden Point Branch.

Now I must say "Bonjour" since I am in Paris. I survived the bumpy ride on the plane, and it tickled when the custom inspectors searched the suitcase. Anyway, here I am on top of the Eiffel Tower! C’est magnifique! It’s a little scary because of the gusty winds up here, so I must hold on tight. It’s also a little rainy today. There are crowds of people from many countries up here and so many languages. I wish I could understand their stories.
Still in Paris, but this time I was inside the Louvre. It is an incredibly large building, and I was afraid I’d get lost because I couldn’t read the map. This building used to be a fortress and then a palace before becoming the most visited art gallery in the world. I understand why. Famous paintings and sculptures are everywhere. There is even a Starbuck’s by the small glass pyramid.
Today, we arrived in Monaco. This is a busy place. Flags are flying, flowers are blooming, and the palace is decorated. Everyone is all abuzz about the wedding between Prince Albert and Charlene. Speaking of a love story, I saw a beautiful leather bookmark with jewels in a store window. I think I’m in love, but I realize she’s a little out of my class.
