Almost nothing is more annoying to me than car troubles. My poor car has been through the ringer, and it’s frustrated me to no end. Two years ago, we replaced all four tires, shocks, and struts for the outrageous price of over $1000. Imagine my surprise when a few months later I found myself with flat tires (I’m not talking one flat tire, I mean all four in less than a year). After having the tires checked out, we determined that they hadn’t been sealed properly. Our mechanic took care of it and we moved on.
Repairs and maintenance on your vehicle can be confusing and costly unless you have some auto repair knowledge. Before you try fixing that broken down car, you may want to check out the database called Auto Repair Reference Center, which can be accessed through MCPL.

I just returned from a loooong road trip (26 hours from KC to Maine). I had checked out a couple of audiobooks on CD that I thought my twelve year-old son would enjoy to help pass the time.
All of my happy childhood memories are associated with my grandmother Lena. She provided a contrast to all of my bad experiences. She was a short and round woman with a big belly that bounced up and down when she laughed. I found that terribly endearing.
Today is the birthday of Korean pop star Lee Tae-Min (Taemin). Generally, not many people I know would care about that, but as of a handful of months ago, my little sister introduced me to K-Pop. I found that I really enjoyed the music of a band called SHINee, of which Taemin is a part of.
BookFlix Is a Great Resource to Excite First-Time Readers
It's almost time to go back to school. And for some little students, school will start for the first time.
In the coming weeks, many first-timers will take their first serious try at reading. Some will jump in with both feet. Others won't be quite so enthusiastic to take the plunge.
WorldCat is the tool we use to request items that MCPL does not own. This is just one more way that we do our best to give you access to the items you want.
