It is that time of year again. School’s just getting into the swing of things, and if you are in high school, it’s time to start thinking about the college entrance exams. When I applied for college, you had to apply almost a year in advance to get the good dorms. That means the ACT had to be taken even earlier. I also took it three times, so I had to start super early.
You may not be aware of all of the resources the library provides for students preparing for college. We have several excellent databases, among them are Learning Express Library and Testing and Education Reference Center. They provide subject area review courses and online practice tests for college prep courses.
I know midterms are right around the corner. You’re probably stressed out enough without thinking about the future, especially another important exam, but here I am, putting a bug in your ear. Do you know which test you need to take to get into the college of your choice, ACT or SAT?
