Also, we'll be making some awesome princess crafts (Magic wands, royal crowns, and princess clothespin dolls) for you to take home with you!
Thank you one and all for coming to our Princess Tea Party this last Saturday! We had a blast partying it up like royalty, reading some books fit for a queen, and celebrating with our special guests: Cinderella, Rapunzel, and Ariel! You can check out our photo gallery from the event on our Facebook page.

Our main event will be the Frog Jumping Contest. Every participant will need to bring their own frog for this event.
We are having tons of fun this summer in Grain Valley. The Summer Reading Program is in full swing, and we are having some amazing progams here at the Library. Just today, we hosted a program by the Kansas City Zoo. The presenters were awesome, and the kids had a great time. They were even able to pet an alligator.
We have plenty of other fun stuffed planned this summer, so check our Events, and come join in the fun.
Our annual Summer Reading Program will be ending soon on Wednesday, July 31st, 2013. This will be the last day to turn in your reading lists or reviews. You will have until Saturday, August 3rd to pick up your last prize.
This year, we’ve had hundreds of children and teens participate, from birth to age 20. Many prizes have been earned through this program, and our children’s wall has been filled with names of participants. We are very proud of our community and their participation.
