Each year, staffers at North Oak create and present a puppet show to kick off the library's Summer Reading Program. Although the story lines vary, one thing that is constant year after year is our main character: Herman the dragon. Herman is usually up to some kind of adventure, and he is good at getting the audience excited about reading lots of great library books over the summer.
Moms, don’t you just love that phrase coming out of your little angel’s mouth? Every parent out there has heard this phrase many times during their child’s summer break.
There are many things to do in your area. And, they are FREE! Free is a great word to hear when you have kids, and the library can help you find fun activities.
Click here to check out our library programs. We have some exciting programs this summer. They are fun for all ages.
