After the month of October has come to an end, I think back to all the walks, fundraisers, programs, and events that bring awareness to the prevention of breast cancer. There are so many people who go out of their way to do so much to help and encourage others. They give of their time, talents, resources, and financial support.
When I received the diagnosis of breast cancer, I knew my life had changed. What I hadn’t expected was that there would be some positives. One of those was that I now fit the criteria to use resources provided by Turning Point. Turning Point, a non-profit organization, is a Kansas City area community resource for hope and healing.
