Things are really moving around here at Red Bridge! We’re currently undergoing a few changes to our building layout, so some things you might go searching for aren’t were you last saw them. Not to worry! The staff is ready to help you find where things have moved to (don’t be alarmed, we didn’t rewrite the Dewey Decimal System), and also help you find things that are still in their current home.
Have you been to the Camden Point Branch lately? If you have, I’m sure you noticed that things are changing around here. We are preparing for renovations to be made during the last week of March. We may look chaotic for a little while. We apologize for your inconvenience. We are always happy to help you find just the right material you need, so please just ask.
The Oak Grove Branch will be closed on March 30th and 31st. During this time, the library will be repainted. The branch will reopen Monday, April 2nd at 9:00 a.m.
For services, please visit the Grain Valley Branch while we are temporarily closed on Friday and Saturday. However, our branch's book drop will remain open 24/7 for returns.
Last week the Weston Branch was closed for carpeting and painting, but we are open now. Come in for a whiff of that new carpet smell....the new carpet looks good too!
The Camden Point Branch will be closed March 26 – April 1. During this week, we will all be working hard to enhance our branch so it can be its best for you. Any items that you have checked out from this location or items you might have on hold here will simply suspend in our system. Camden Point patrons will not need to worry about fines accruing during this week. Also, please note that Toddle Time and Storytime will be cancelled on March 29.
You’ve seen the BEFORE, now come see the AFTER! The Camden Point Branch reopened Monday, April 2. We've undergone an enhancement that really shook off the dust and gave us a fresh new look.
The Dearborn Branch will be closed April 23 - 29 for renovations. We are getting brand new carpets, a fresh coat of paint, a new bulletin board, and other upgraded features. Come and see what we have done when we reopen on April 30, at 9:00 a.m.
WOW!!! The Dearborn Branch is finally done with all of their renovations. We have new carpet, paint, flooring, and a new desk. We have put in a lot of hard work and energy to make the library look great!!! And boy does it look great! It is open and brighter than before.
We have the high school pictures up on the wall. We've lowered them so you can see them better. They look super!! Come in and take a look around. Make sure you look at the high school pictures.
In the next couple of weeks, you will see things changing at the Colbern Road Branch. We are undergoing an enhancement to make the Library more user-friendly and accessible. Although things will look a bit different, we’re still here to help, and our main goal is still to provide the best customer service possible.
Our regular Riverside Branch customers may notice a few changes the next time you visit us. We are reconfiguring our circulation desk in order to improve customer service and increase efficiency. To that end, our circulation desk has totally disappeared! Never fear, we are still available at a temporary desk in order to serve our customers.
