Time for an update on our North Oak book clubs. The North Oak Branch hosts a book club on the third Wednesday of every month. This is led by Jennifer from our staff. Feel free to call or stop by for information. The North Oak Branch also offers support for our community book groups. Two years ago, I had three clubs using our branch as their resource for their club‘s books. Today our branch is helping fifteen groups on a regular or occasional basis.
The Platte City Branch Book Club meets the 3rd Thursday of each month at 7:00 p.m. For our March 17th meeting, we will be discussing A Reliable Wife by Robert Goolrick.
Are you looking for something new and fun to do? One of our North Oak customers has brought forward an idea for a new book group at the branch. He has even volunteered to run the discussions!
