Did you know that your library has a variety of different events happening every week? You can choose from Book Clubs, Homeschoolers @ The Library, Storytimes, and other special programs we have coming up! The dates and times for these are simple to find.
Thursday’s Mystery Book Club discussed The Last Detective by Robert Crais. This is the ninth book in Crais’ Elvis Cole series. Everyone found this one to be a quick read, but there was a divided line between those who didn’t care for the book and those who really enjoyed the book. Not much middle ground with this one and more of the group enjoyed this than not.
Book Club to Discuss Pulitzer Prize-Winning Author

Thursday’s Mystery Book Club discussed The Complaints by Ian Rankin. This book introduces us to Malcolm Fox. He’s a detective working in the complaints, which is the equivalent to internal affairs here in the U.S. He’s given the assignment to investigate Officer Jamie Breck. Just as he starts looking into Breck, Fox gets a phone call…from Breck.
