When my interest in anime really started budding about nine years ago, I was under the impression that the extent of my fandom (fan domain) would be the Internet. I watched the shows and was able to talk about them with people on sites my mom had deemed safe for me, but I wanted to be able to experience more.
All types of fan conventions generally are branches of science fiction conventions, which began in the late 1930s. Anime conventions center on Japanese animation, and there are hundreds of cons held every year in America.
I’m sure when you read the title, there were some thoughts that flash through your mind, and I’m sure that they may be quite varied from another person’s reaction. While I do not watch absolutely everything, I consider myself an anime enthusiast. I’ve watched my fair share of movies and TV series, and I’d like to share with you some fun trivia about anime as well as some of my favorites in case you are interested in trying out this genre of animation.
December is almost here, and with it comes the cold temperatures that we’ve come to expect during the last month of the year. It’s also the time we say goodbye to one year and get ready for another one.
