The Raytown Branch recently acquired microfilm from the Raytown Historical Society for the Raytown News from January 2, 1930—November 29, 1962.

I decided to stretch my horizons and go to a few local places that are out of my comfort zone. El Chaparrita (petite in English) really packs a lot into a tiny space. The fresh pastries and breads looked yummy. I also saw cheeses, tamales, spices, peppers, salsas, and piñatas.
