Acropolis and Its Parthenon - Wonders of the World

On one of my last leg of travels to Greece this summer, I visited the Parthenon in Athens. The Parthenon is the most important surviving building of Classical Greece. You can't help but feel in awe and amazement of this site that was built centuries ago, it’s most breathtaking. I had visited the Parthenon years ago, and it’s a different experience every time.

The Parthenon sits atop of the Acropolis. The Acropolis (high city) is a mammoth steep sided rock overlooking Athens.
