If you are the type of person who doesn’t like to browse the stacks for books, then come and check out our displays. We try to have something for everyone on them. They are a quick and easy way to find books that interest you.
The first display you will see is the “Thrill a Minute” display. These are the action-packed thrillers. The covers are sure to catch your eye. If it has something blowing up, planes or helicopters, the Capital building, the White House, FBI, CIA, or the KGB, on the cover, the book will be on this display.
If you like to read and talk about books, come to our book club! Everyone is welcome. We meet the second Tuesday of the month at 10:00 A.M. Our selections are eclectic and provide for a wide variety of tastes.
Cozy mysteries usually take place in a small town setting. There is no graphic violence or use of strong language.
They usually involve a domestic crime committed with a blunt instrument or poison. The solution to the mystery (usually in some form of puzzle) is most often solved by an amateur detective who has a keen understanding of human nature and is astute in observation and deduction.
