North Independence Reopens Late 2010

The new North Independence Branch is almost here. Soon library users will have a great new way to access MCPL services. The North Independence Branch will be unlike any other in the system, and a great destination for anyone in the metropolitan area.

The library will contain many great features including a children's library, public meeting space, quiet rooms, a computer lab, a special teen area, a bistro, and much more. It will all be here before the end of 2010!

While undergoing renovations, the branch has been temporarily relocated to the corner of Maple and Woodland at the back of the Independence Regional Health Center campus.
