During the Great Depression, the federal government initiated an ambitious employment and infrastructure program known as the Works Progress Administration. Its cultural division employed musicians, artists, writers, actors, and directors in the arts. Meet some of the artists that helped lift the nation out of despair, launched many careers, and forged a lasting legacy. This program will be held virtually using Zoom.
